About Airborne BMX

Airborne BMX is a side-scrolling BMX stunt game built around speed, timing, and freestyle riding. Instead of simply racing to the finish, you’ll need to build momentum, launch off ramps, perform tricks and grinds, and land cleanly if you want to finish each course with a strong score.

The game starts out approachable, but the tracks become much more demanding as you progress. A little extra speed can help you clear a gap, while one badly timed trick can send your rider into a spectacular crash.

Ride, Jump, and Build Your Score

Each level gives you a series of ramps, obstacles, and technical sections to work through. The Pump mechanic is important for building enough momentum before a jump. Once you're airborne, you can combine spins and tricks to increase your score, then focus on getting the bike lined up for a safe landing.

There are more than 40 tricks and grinds to learn, giving you plenty of room to experiment with different combinations. You can also work through Trick Challenges and aim for Platinum Medals if simply reaching the finish isn't enough.

As you progress, new areas become available, including Foothills, Dark Woods, The Mountain, Dustbowl, Wetlands, and The Park.

Don't Let the Tricks Ruin the Run

It can be tempting to squeeze in one more trick while you're in the air, but a clean landing is usually worth more than an ambitious combo that ends in a crash. Try to think about the next obstacle before your wheels touch the ground.

A good run should flow from one section to the next. Build speed, use the ramp, perform a controlled trick, land properly, and carry that momentum into the following obstacle.

Tips for Better Runs

  • Build momentum early. Use the Pump mechanic before ramps to get enough speed for longer jumps.
  • Look at the landing. Don't spend all your attention on the trick. Start positioning the bike before you come back down.
  • Learn the track. Remember where difficult ramps and obstacles appear so you can prepare for them on the next attempt.
  • Keep combos under control. Longer combinations can produce bigger scores, but only if you can finish them safely.
  • Use challenges to practice. Trick Challenges give you specific goals and are a useful way to become more comfortable with the game's movement system.

With multiple worlds, hundreds of levels and challenges, customizable bikes, different riders, and global leaderboards, Airborne BMX gives freestyle fans plenty to work toward. Build your speed, launch off the next ramp, and see how cleanly you can put the bike back on the ground.
